Love story
Location - Pune city bus
Day 1
The bus came at sharp 7:55PM
The driver got up from his seat and sat on the first passenger seat, just besides his seat.
He was desperately waiting for someone to come
He saw her coming. God! He was so happy to see her.
He greeted her and offered her that first seat.
She refused shyly and sat on the third seat instead
He smiled gently and started humming a romantic tune
Then left the bus stop at sharp 8PM
He was looking back after every 2 mins and was asking her (in sign language) to take the first seat.
At last she came
Alternately they looked at each other
He was in a very cool mood.
He was being extra polite with every passenger and did a bit of social service as well by stopping the bus at the passenger specific spot instead of the bus stop.
The bus completely stopped at the 6th bus stop.
She got down, waved at him with a lovely smile
He was more than happy.
He got excited, drove the bus at a super fast speed and covered a distance of 10kms in just 10 mins!
Day 2
The bus came at sharp 7:55PM
The driver got up from his seat and sat on the first passenger seat, just besides his seat.
He was desperately waiting for the same person to come
Time was 8:10PM
Conductor shouted, “Let’s go. It’s late”.
He said, “Wait! She is coming”
Time was 8:15PM
Conductor shouted again.
Driver got down and started cleaning the front glass.
Time was 8:20PM
Now the conductor warned
Driver started the bus, started off slowly was continuously blowing the screechy horn
Driver lost his patience and was no more in his goody goody mood
The 6th bus stop came, the bus stopped.
He blew the bus horn thrice – all very very long ones
He was a damn rash and irritating driver!
Day 3
The bus was already there by 7:45PM
The bus was all empty?!
No no… the couple was having a heated discussion on the second last seat in that dark bus.
She was angry. He was being sorry.
Time was 8:05PM
Conductor was no where to be seen
At 8:15PM, the driver started the bus; all the other passengers came running
Driver was again happy and the love story was like Day 1
That was a 10 years old happily married couple!
